Walk out the front door and you're on the St Oswald's Way. It's downstream to Warkworth and the coast, and upstream to Rothbury and Coquetdale.
The famous Running Fox cafe serves a delicious range cakes and pasteries and sits directly across the river.Everything from a cooked breakfast to afternoon tea. Situated in the basement is one of our 'local pubs' The Foxes Den.

Art on the Bridge takes place in the summer (usually once a month on a Sunday) weather permitting.
Comprising of two gallery and exhibition spaces, a gift shop with a cosy, fireside seating area where cake and coffee are served. Also on site are 6 artists’ studios, currently occupied by a variety of designers, makers and artists.
